ZACARIAS MOUSSAOUI, the only person in the U.S. to be charged in the 9/11 attacks, has been found eligible to recieve the Death penalty. Moussaoui's lies to the FBI, juror's believed, made him responsible for at least one death during the September 11 attacks.
Moussaoui had already pleaded guilty on helping in the 9/11 attacks, so the trial was waived. The most recent ruling means he is now able to get the death penalty from Jurors, if they so choose.

The trial sounds like a bit of a farce so far. It seems likely that Moussaoui is mentally ill. The push for the death penalty and the trial itself are merely cynical moves to have at least one head on a stake.
