Air Marshals Did A Great Job

Did everyone catch the excitement in Miami today? A guy on board flght 924 supposedly was bipolar and ddn't take his medication. Now, I may be wrong about this, and you can email me if I'm wrong, but missing one medication shouldn't have pushed him over the edge. His wife, being married and devoted to him, is the one person who is to make SURE that he take his medication. Someone with a disorder like that may think that they don't need medicine, but she's there to make sure that he does.

Anyway, the guy ran off the airplane yelling that he had a bomb, and was reaching into his bag as the agents were pointing their guns at him. As my dad said, once the agents unholster their gun, they're gonna shoot somebody. He got fair warning, but EVEN though he was bipolar, you'd think he'd know when there were guns pointed at him!

Anyway, he wasn't even supposed to fly! An expert on T.V. said that people with bipolar disorder are told whether or not they are supposed to fly. And he was told that he shouldn't fly! But he did anyway.

The agents did the job that they're supposed to do. That's it, but people will make more of it than it really is. FOX News will spin it to the effect that "President Bush ordered more flight marshals, and he alone is responible for this heroic display of safety on the part of the agents". Or something like that.
